Articulation Assessment

Articulation refers to the ability of forming clear and distinct sounds in speech. Children that show communication concerns should undergo a comprehensive assessment for speech and language evaluation.

While most children exhibit ‘typical errors’ during the developmental phase, such errors and patterns are taken into consideration during assessment. Such an assessment can help in diagnosing a speech sound disorder, identifying the contributing factors, description and severity of the disorder, recommendations to monitor reading progress in schools, diagnosis of spoken language disorder, etc. Our Hearing Experts conduct articulation assessments and make the necessary recommendations to help you.
